So here we have my lovely ‘vent’ piece which has become a series of sorts (aka I wanna do more ‘emotion’ pieces… oh man. Add it to the list). To be honest it was really hard to work on this when I was getting happy, which isn’t to say I was mad or sad when I worked more on it I just suddenly ‘felt the mood’ and was like ‘yeah lets have at’

My original idea was so different from where this is going. D: dear muse hand me a map! But still I like it. I just wanted to mimic a crackling oil pointing effect, not this weird branch/weed effect… but I think for this image and for how I drew it, this works better. Yay organic shapes! This still isn’t done… I would put this now officially at 80-85% not much to say… XD

CORRECTION! So I went to scan it and I notice that the ink has reacted with the salt leftover on the paper… TO GET THE VERY EFFECT I WANTED! Only catch you can’t see it. XD HAHAHAHHA. I will include an ‘up close’ so you see eit. :3

so working on fleshing out the character. i love her look! you cant see it but she has an extreme cut like an a-line bob but it goes from 1 side to the other. :D

the dance pose is homage to her cutting a rug to the 80's 'earth that was' music. :3 my adorable hacker in her blast shirt and boxers.

she has an issue with salt. she loves it. it keeps the bad luck away, and shes had issue with people air lock releasing the salt in the past. (shes now a bit possessive) that explains her hugging the '40 lb pillow'.

so i have a project i'm working on. as i am a super mega ultra geek i partake of some table top RP once in a while. ::nods:: geeky. how i do character development with my characters is a need a drawing first. as shes is still developing (but pretty fleshed out) i thought it would be fun to do a sketch lineup. to see where she started (top) and where shes at now. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna keep the bottom designs, as i did the illustrators "GASP/SWOON" when i whipped them out.

this proves an interesting project, as we see how essentially shes the same, but completely different after 2 weeks of sketching. :3 the very top image is the first sketch EVER just to try to capture the character. ::nods::

Lyn on her own, because if you try to zoom in on the big on you gust get everything else. hope to bring this for finish for her character profile. :3

Background info: Lyn is a hacker! but sadly she has amnesia. she was created for the Serenity Role playing game. :3 you will be seeing more of Lyn. JOY!

a series... or sorts

so i have an idea for a series or illustrations in my head involving self, and well this popped out. YAY. the idea of this is how we tie ourselves down with our own personal doubts and fears, like how we may tell ourselves we are not good enough, smart enough, fast enough, skinny enough etc etc etc. the list goes on! i always believed that we are our own toughest critic because we know what can cut down to the quick the fastest. we can disarm ourselves very easily and all it needs is a food hold, before we know it, we have emotionally spiraled into feelings of self loathing.

pretty dark. EEK! but i think as humans with our nature we have to take the good with the bad. we have to accept that we are not perfect but that also makes us better in some way. (we each have to find that way) i dislike how we allow ourselves to be so caught up in our 'ego' (happens to me trust me) and i hope that one day no one gets mentally tied down by their inner fears and worries.

the sketch came after about 4 other ideas, but none of them felt right. i was in a bit of a mood when this idea came to me and i wanted to catch it. i like the hair mouths idea. >3

ahh yes, the painting is about 40% done. >_< this is what i have so far, and i must admit doing the ink on the WC paper was a difficult task BUT also gave it a good effect, so, in the end, i like it. but probably wont use it for other things (the paper makes the lines super jittery, so unless i need that effect well... yeah.)

The Well, cover concept

The Well is probably the first comic concept I ever had. (with exception of Tin Ambition, which was a comic but not an idea just an idea about a comic… what? Are we confused? Yes! Carrying on.) The Well was thought up to be a short. It was for practice as I was wanting to get into comics and I decided I should think up an idea to use for study, for whatever reason (ie: super laziness) I never did it until 2009. (I got the idea in 2005ish? yeeeeeeah)

Well here is the not so beginning stages. I thought doing it in pencil only would be an AMAZING idea. Yeah amazing fail. This piece always needed to be in ink, why? To get the contrast between the light and shadow. (hurr hurr such a novel concept ehh?) but the issue, I am uncomfortable working in ink. Haha oh man this is gonna rock.
The comic is a homage piece to depression which surprised me as I usually don’t get all emotional with my art. (I mean really with as many asides I have done in this write up you can see how I have an issue focusing on emotion with ‘works o’ art’) It’s not necessarily MY depression but more how everyone feels in it. It’s something that consumes you hunts you down and rips you apart. (whoa, Nami whoa!)

RIGHT moving on. I have uploaded some concept art as well as a “throw away” piece (no really I’m chucken the ink work) of my current project that I can share (there is a client piece I’m currently working on but that’s all I can say HAHAHA NON DISCLOUSER >p) I am going to spend the next few weeks practicing inking, and doing some panel redesign. Then the completed comic will go up on my smack-jeeves page (OMG NAMI IS SPREADING ACROSS THE INTERNET LIKE THE PLAUGE. FOR SERIOUS.) in the mean time I get to bore you with my process here!

Art rant with example!

I hate bad critique, not "if you altered this it would flow better" or "your color theory is a bit off, see that color it doesn’t work well" you know general HELPFUL insightful critique of my work is ALWAYS welcome. I am a FIRM believer in when you have your hands on something to long you begin to lose sight of it. But I HATE when I ask for an onion or a critique and I get "it's ok, but I would do it this way..." then they proceed to take MY image and turn it into something THEY did. What? Wait... I asked for input like "hey the anatomy is looking pretty good but it’s a sketch so show me more close to finish" or "it looks like this area is weak here are some suggestions"

Telling me how YOU would do something is fine, but kind of a slap in the face. After getting this form of critique a few times I have resolved with myself to NEVER use that phrase again. To instead use the "here are a few ideas to think about" I think its because of my art drills. I’m beginning to be more objective of art I suppose.

But nothing, I mean NOTHING, kills my mood like a bad critique. OH-EM-GEE thanks for telling me exactly how you would do it. But I asked for your advice as a PEER not a TEACHER/ADVISOR/MENTOR. I donno. As we can see with the amount of caps this is a hot button subject. SO I have decided to lay out some critiquing guidelines for myself, feel free to use this.

Mood, message and purpose:

This more for an Illustration, especially those paired with articles. Does the mood of the piece fit the meaning/message? Do these elements speak clearly but also allow for the viewer to process the information seen and think about it?

Division of space, positive vs. negative, use of color:

Did they divide the space well; is there a balance between negative and positive? If not does the imbalance drive you to the focal point? How does the choice of color affect this? Is it a limited palette, full color, monochrome?

Anatomy, proportion, alignment, perspective, other key technical elements.

Look and see how the piece works, are the legs to long not lining up on the correct plain? Extra fingers? Correct perspective?

Execution.

This can be difficult. Does the piece look/feel finished. Is it well done? If rendered, done correctly? Light source or sources. Anything of note to work on next time?

I am a firm believe of giving praise where praise is deserved. If the piece is excited well but one aspect has failed, inform them of the short coming but tell them where they are succeeding in the piece. Sounds like sugar coating? Kind of. BUT how many people like to get up after they have just been kicked? I feel everyone needs to feel that yes, you are getting it! You have this and this down, but here is now where you need to focuses. I mean if the person feels as if they only failed on the piece, why would they want to work on it more? I guess I’m way to happy sappy but, I also feel it’s more constructive. I find ego boosts make people work harder. And I bet if they go back and tweak that one thing, it will look great.

I also believe that any serious artist, even though they will be hurt about it, will listen.

In this post we see a GREAT example of this. I LOVE this picture, save for the finial execution of it. Its piss poor.

In my defense, I have already identified this AS a bad finish. (( I’ve ranted plenty about this on my DA :D)) BUT I felt it is important to show failure.

One of my teachers in college said this " 9 out of 10 paintings you will do will be a failure. Keep painting to get to that 1" this is the one piece of advice I carry with me the most. Mainly because I feel awful after I do something sub par. What I mean is I KNOW I can do so much better why didn't if? Well, it just happens. You always feel like you can do better. ALWAYS. But if you learn from your mistakes as much as you do from success, you'll make mistakes less often.

Here is what I will fix:
*The mood with color. It’s too dreary. I want the figure to stand out and pop. Because she is the same tone as the sky behind, she doesn’t do that as well.
*It was suggested to make the dress all white, but I think I will instead make a gradient from the top of the skirt white/cream to the bottom of the skirt a dark stormy blue grey, I will also turn the blouse white/cream.
*Add more variety to the feathers in her cap.
*Mute the yellow tone a bit, make it more gold/brown
*Paint better landscape
*Possible add stars

While I like the cloud wisps around her I will probably NOT add that to the watercolor version.

Rainmaker will be re-done. I plan on doing a comparison pic of her also; this has been great practice in re-rendering the same image multiple times also! The one here was done in marker on bigger paper so I transferred without a light table, but my watercolor paper is smaller than the dimensions of the Bristol I drew it on SO I’m getting practice in reproducing the same image many times. Which is also on my art drill list. BOYEAH.

So all in all to those who critique, remember it’s helpful only when it’s a helpful and informative critique! For those who art, don’t hide failure! Its nothing to be ashamed of, just use it to build something better. ((Like the bionic man))

SO i FINIALLY have made DECENT headway on the wedding gift. for some reaosn i was jsut terrified to work on it. i still get intimidated when i step up to a blank canvas.

but now with it almost done i feel accomplished. i do not love the peice. but i like it there are a few tweaks i need to make BUT over all i feel it was a good learning pratice. i feel it came out ok. i made notes of what i need to work on. and plan to add that to my art drills

i need to go in and tweak my grandmothers gift. urg urg urg. but both tweaks should take no more than 3 hours

and with the finishing of these 2 peices and the summoner contest, NO personal art done for others unless paid or for "job" until i get the 8 concepts/project finished. BLAH.

when i get back from my trip i will post finished versions of art, sketches and other things. i have a stack growing i need to scan...

:D WOAH!

here i have dancing cat with chicken friend in a canoe 30 min. sketch set of noses and more sketches of my summnor peice.

art has been coming easier, thank god. and im more confidant. ive been getting some critique of things to think about BEFORE i draw the image. :D WHOOT. and i feel as if im a stronger artist now than even a month ago. now to kick soem but and take some names.

being a creature of habit here is my to do list! ZOMG.

between now and Sunday evening:
5 30 min sketch sets
clean room for 2 hours total (( its so messy and i need to make an area for christmas present construction. >_< URG. im starting early so i can know how much of what i need to buy. blah blah blah))
put 6 hours into wedding watercolor
tight line drawing for summoner peice done, and tweaked ready for watercolor transferal.
reiki for 2 hours
SLEEP goal? 8 hours on friday night to Saturday. >_< bleah ive been averageing 5 hours a night, which is amazing i can do it. but im egsaushted. ;_;
work on baby blanket for my great neice (( my cousin had a baby. i was working on a baby blanket but now its HUGE. so hopefully she can use it as a todler and up. :D))
Work out 3 times. (( arms legs and core every day because i slacked off))
research makeing home made salsa... YUM!

so fairly busy but i also have 5 days. :D WISH ME LUCK! (( lists are AMAZING))

Contest woes

OH NUES! i totally forgot to upload yesterday! SO double today. XD

the first 2 images to me 3 hours to get to this level. IE-CURUMBA! i have an idea in my head and have been struggling to get it out on paper. ok so this isnt close to what i imagined, BUT elements of it are there. i am aiming for a steam punked/gear-ish look. (( the elf girl)) the other one is just someone who poped out. i oridiginally likes the pose, but the tweaking did not result in what i was desiring. i had a VERY complicated arm pose imagined, and while i still long to draw it im setting it aside. i need to focouse on the contest cause the deadlien is fast aproaching and i only have the sketch of the character, which was my goal 2 weeks ago... hrmmm deffiniantly discouraged.

BUT i will not give up. hopefully i can streamline the rest of the process, and produce quality work. that is my goal. quality. urg urg urg. i have abotu 30 sheets or paper with just doodles on it, but not even compleat figures, ive been tyring to get a solid pose, that is a little different from most poses i do, im workign to start drawign variaty. blah. it is just frustrateing.

the other 2 were intended for thursday but i spaced...

YAY CHARACTER DESIGNS. :D i finially got a mogget im happy with. just a little tweaking but im worken on doing the solid turnaround, and then some color. the nice thing it it just came out. YAY. NO FORCEING THE ROCK. it took long enough...

hoepfully after i finish moggett i can do Sabriel, Lirael, Touchstone and Sendings.

Finished my grandmothers present! YAY. now i get to haul butt and kick it into overdrive on the wedding gift. hmm no posty till they get the presents though. XD cause im like that.

and im off!

PS- i love when people critique your work but tell you how THEY would do it. not a critique at all really. such as "wow thats nice but i think you should have drawn it in my style. like this. see this is better." HWAH?

Art drill, art goal

there is nothing i love more than when the heavens align to make things awsome. lately ive been able to churn out some great sketches. i plan on scanning this weekend and having a good chuck of things to post next week. and i've FINIALLY been able to work on some character design for Abhorsen ((a side prject to take something someone ELSE created and make the characters)). :D i have a mogget i like! so i am gonna work on getting a nice character sheet worked up for him. also, still worken on my grandmothers birthday gift. :D and i and in much more like with it than before. but ho-mah-gosh its bright.

Goals this weekend? (friday-sunday)
3 30 mineut sketch sets
layout finialized for summoning contest and begin the larger version.
mogget poses and faces sketched, mogget turnaround, done.
begin wash in of color for Keith/cassangras wedding gift
begin green color expansion chart.
finished Grandmothers birthday gift

and as always i have a list outside of this but i need to make a list of my lists XD AHAH oh boy. the above have top priorty. below we see a color expansion i did with 40 colors. OMG it was HELL but very helpful. Color expansions suck but you get to see how diferent pigments work together. usually pradictably but sometimes they suprise you. watercolor has been a beast because it being an OPAQUE it is different from oils and acrylic, even colored pencil.

but as always pratice makes perfect.

Why hello! below we see ART AGAIN! YAY! these werefor fun, but the first FINISHED peice (( i do concider my sketches to be finished, but at times i feel thats cheating)) was form a 30 min sketch set about 2 weeks ago. i decided to work on it making it finished, and also i have a waterfolor version coming up. :3 exciting. i might even do an ink version... Bloody mary was fun to draw.((that is the name of the peice))

Sorry no art, just pure emotion!

There is always mixed feelings when you realise. " well, my stuff is STILL pretty bad, at least its better than last year"

i have been fighting off mixed boughts of "being dragged down about my art emotional feelings" mainly because i awoke to this reality sometime last week. one of those "wow you getting better, but see those mountians? you have to go over that range to get where you should, and know you can be." (( i wonder if that is also a metaphore, i know i will end up in Cali, and im currently in Denver... just 1 more mountian range to go over!))

and this is where brutal honesty for honesty's sake is good and healthy. depressing as all hell, but healthy. i mean no one WANTS to admit they are just not good enough. i mean REALLY! but thankfully i've gotten TONS of support from my freinds lately especially. they seem to be rideing me as to "why are you not appalying for art jobs?" my ancwer? "My portfolio, well lack there off is keeping me away..."

My goal in this is to have a decent sized and adding to portfolio in a few months. (( 4 the longest)) and sending out after that. i dont wanna be at my job longer than a year. which, is kinda mean cause they gave me when i REALLY needed it. BUT i need to do this for me. being an Office whipping gal is matonotious and tiring, the people are AMAZING and i will be sad i can't hang out with them but, in all honesty i am NOT an office girl. bleah.

Today i realised though that i NEEDED the office job. if i just got an art job with no work for it, i would eventually tire of it. im a strange creature. i NEED a challenge to feel sucessful about something. that is why i did art, in all honesty. it was something i could do decently enough to always recive praise form family, but i wanted to see if i could become better. i feel kinda like an oddball about art too. i need to come at it from a different perspective than my arty freinds.

Here is the catch 22, even with all this drive to get better, i will never be satisfied which is ok. but im sure 2 decades form now you will read me lamenting about "i just am not good enough! the recent feature lenght animation i worked on is so subpar!" btu that is always why i love art, you can ALWAYS improve, but with fileing? you kinda cant get much better after your through, speedy and know the alphabet, ya know?

in the end, i've made the septs toward improvement. i call them 'Art Drills' im hoping to give myself weekly challenges to eradicate my weaknesses in areas i've noted. if i missed anything please feel free to comment.

The list?
Color theory. (( ouch!)) i USED to be decent in this, in fact color was my top skill, but as i improved elsewhere with my art this began to lack and did not improve WITH my skills. especially that color in watercolor is NOT the same as CGing, and Acrylic, oil, etc.
Anatomy. ALWAYS NEED TO STUDY! i particuallary need to work on my men. :D
Perspective- something i never got around to fully worken on. >_<
5 basic shapes light from different angles- ALWAYS need to work on this to grasp form.
watercolor 1 hour painting challenge- with hopes that limited time makes me focouse on getting the gist across, kinda liek a 10 mineut gesture, enough for skill, but not enough for detailed rendering.
watercolor color theory- a color chart of all the color and what the mix into.
Drappery/clothing- for charcter design
Animal anatomy- cause animal help with human anatomy.
Inks- to pratice inking to bost my confidance!
photochop/painter pratice- proably quick images to get back intothe sqing of digital art.
Reproducing in various mediums- where i go form sketch to pencil to inkd grey scale to color to line and ink to even cg and maybe 3-d. all the same peice to work on beign able to reproduce the same image multipule times.
Still lives/landscapes- while i love me landscapes, the pratice is ALWAYS necessary. i hate still lives, so that pratice is necessary too.
30 min sketch set- continue but go with theams in the sketches instead of just warmups. :D

as seen above i sure do have a laundry list to work on. but im hoping to vary my drills each week to keep me intrested in what im doing. i will improve, i will concoure, and it will be glorious! (( it just sucks right now XD))

More watercolor pratice form back in Febuary. ^^;; i need to do a few watercolor excersises still but im happy with how these turned out.

i think i will be makeing a list amd proably for the next few weeks just workign on skill. being an artist if fun cause you must ALWAYS be learning, always striving, always working. it keeps it fun. luckly i know a lot, but its appalying it differently to watercolor... >_< trixey mediums.

So below you will see no theam... save for these were all different 30 min sketch sets that i did. im slowly stopping doing 50bajillion images on one page and am trying to get 1 illustration done in 30 min.

yesterday i did a REDICILIOUSLY sexy "Bloody Mary" inspired by the mary mary quite contrary nursery rhyme. im trying to finish it before posting so here are some others ive done, am proud of and will hopefully do more with!

save for Lady and the tramp charcter, which is copyright Disney form the movie Lady and the tramp. ive been watching many movies lately and im trying to draw from the charctes in motion. its good, but frustrateing pratice. XD "wait... how does her 1/4 profile look? NO DONT LOOK THAT WAY AURG!" hahaha. i might have that be an art challenge. its like life drawing, but with animation.

the other two im hopeing to finish but i donno in what media... probaly watercolor.

so we all know i have that "terms of aggrement" before we come here.

it makes me WANNA draw boobies for it to be ... ya know... valid.

but ... do i REALLY wanna do that? i mean should this place be more family orintated?

this becoems an issue cause i WANT to get into childrens books... maybe i'll create a new persona... for boobies and un pc-ness. ::sigh::

These are my art goals, and I've begun to map out HOW to reach them. more about this in the future.

I sadly did NO are yesterday ;-; hoping to change that tonight/this weekend.

as for this weekend this is on my to do list.
FINISH:
childrens book cover. (( scand tweaked and SENT!))
2 30 minute sketch sets between friday and sunday
the solid desing for a wedding present, and a birthday present AND put those drawings onto the media to be painted. (( im thinking of working on illustration board. HURR.))
seraphic goodies. 2 sketches/drawing (( im hopeing for a more finished peice really)) i need to create a log of "in the meantime" things to upload here.

as for next weekend... i am kinda sad. i plan on lockign myself in the appartment ALL weekend. but useing my work hours to produce art. the goal? put in 30 hours of art in 3 days. HUMMANAH! (( more would be sexy as sin)) and that weekend here are my goals.
3 30 mineuts sketch sets.
firm up the 2 comics i have sketched for serpahic. pretty happy with the layout just need to tweek a bit.
plan at lease 2 more if we have drafted that far.
finish one of the 2 water colors. (( wedding gift/birthday present)) and have the other one 80% done if not finished.
1 character turn around done. (( i seem to have a hard time makeing anything sold for this... HURR!))

this SEEMS like a lot. and it is, but it is NOT so much that i wont be able to handle it. :D (( cause had i made this list a few month ago it woudl have hade 20 items on it, im beginning to understand what i CAN handle production wise and have it look good.))

it kinda makes me sad cause for the last 2 years i've always spent the 4th with Jacob. but he will be going up to a cabin his family has, and hanging out with freinds playing some air soft. which i encourage him to do. sides i can watch about 10-15 different fire work displays form my appartment window. so yeah it was my choice to forgo mountians. but its sad cause i WANT to go, but for my art i NEED to stay.

as in line with most artists... i hate 99.99999% of all my work onces is DONE. i geuss the main reasons for this are as follows

the finished product NEVER matches what was in my head.
i work on it SO long i just loath working on it.
it never looks as good as the sketch.

i plan to change this. ive REALISED that my breakdown is a though process thing. hurrr. i have the skills, the talent and the drive, but the problem is my brain is still all numbers and logic. every time i look at art. i see that style in my head, not my own. i realise FINIALLY ive been trying to do everyone else. and i now feel awlkward about that, but one of those self realisation awlkwardnesses.... yeah.

BUT the bright news is ive so far put a SOLID 6 hours into art. (( proably more like 10 which IS my goal but i refuse to let my goal be reached already XD so im only counting serious sitdown hours, not playful sketching.))

i ate Pad tie today. ((yum)) i try to eat out 1 time a week max, but at least once for me its a good recharge, its a vice. but one i need... ok want. BUT i got a fortune cookie... "Lucky you made this choice. Everything comes out for the best." hmmmm ON TO ART!

if you notice, the 1st image had an moment of insperation in it. to witch i expanded, and mad the rain maker (( below)) which steams form a child hood though that people were above/part of the coulds that made weather.

so last night i TOTALLY churned out 2 good images. (( well the base line of them)) i have so much stuff to finish though! URG!

:D worked more on the watercolor. i cant wait to skip home and finish the back ground! and then a little touchup and it it ready to be scanned!

i was able to put abotu 3-4 hours of art time down last night. but im only counting 2. why? cause it wasnt a staright art. but MAN IT FELT GREAT! so today i shall share a sketch set. its already up on my DA site but yah. seeing how this is my sketch blog, it deserves sketches too!

What have i been up to

There is something to be said for the feeling of satisfaction i get when i work on art for 2 hours or more. i feel more satisfied with a small product of sketches of artwork, teasing my art drive than i do with a good 40+ hour work week! (( 9 hour days with a 1 hour lunch... bleah)) which bring up the chronic question. why do you do it Nami? if you HATE it, why do you work at NON art jobs. Why do i REGRET driving to work every morning, sad that i will not spend more that 2 hours on art today?

its security. i didn't feel secure with my art to get a job. (( I'm so there now, i just need a body of work)) but also ... loans they be due. I'm now ready to bite the bullet and work my ass off for art. my goal is to dedicate 20 hours a week to art. starting with 10, then pushing it each week. :D

It's been a great vacation for me. not that I've taken time off life wise, but art wise? oh i have. BUT the recharge was MUCH needed. it feels SO incredibly good to just sit and let stuff flow. I've generated quite the back log to post here, and frankly I'm excited. I've pretty much decided to work on my art now. i guess before was a test. (( i may have mentioned this... in fact i tend to say the same thing over and over again which i guess means I'm not lying...)) this is a decision I've made and a contract I'm entering into with myself. just as I've worked on my spiritual self, now is time to continue this trend and work on art and self!

I feel i can push myself now. i see the strength i have in friends and family. (( even some co-workers)) its amazing really you hear about all these kids who's parents only tell them how they will fail, but mine REALLY and truly want to see me secede. and my friends as well you guys are awesome. it makes me wanna cry when i see/feel/know I'm this appreciated that you guys will give me this support. i just a sappy person in general but honestly i feel so honored to have such acquaintances. ;_; I'm tearing up just typing this... LORDS I'M A SAP!

I am totally getting better at spelling. SWEET! my dyslexic brain is starting to accept English! HUZZAH.

im such a lier when it comes to updateing...OH WELL. i've also been ungodly busy with getting/finding a job.

but lord im so happy i have a que of 3 peices for digital coloring, 1 wedding gift, and 2 seraphic comics sketched and 2 personal watercolors. >3 life is good when your overloaded (( as long as its art only)) :D.

i havent had time to update lately, 1000 appoligies... though its not like your missing much (( yet anywyas)) not much is too new with me. looking for jobs, looking to improve my skills, ya know. i have a job for a non profit that i hope will be great on my resume. :D im working on getting soem quality images btu the only issue is i cant seem to deside how i want to draw. cartoony or super realistic. >_<>

here we have Teia from Seraphicblue.net ((longer hair looken sad as always)) the first dedicated art project i have done and probably the main thing that really got me in the art full time mind set.

we also have to the right ---> Remme ((short hair looking miffedish)). the other of the seraphic. its funny these 2 of the 3 girls i draw the most. why? i have NO idea. armie is ever elusive i find it amuseing i can only draw ghostly images of her and nothing completed XD (( shes an albino so it makes sense i geuss))

as it turns out, i am working on trying to firm up the seraphic style. i also hope to use the Manga studio i bought so i can make her pretty and right. :D this is a project i hope to see to publish within 6 years. i also want to give her the love she deserves but sadly life has a funny way of making you realize that eating is somehow important.

i really and truly hope to be able to post much in the future on seraphic as well as my other goodies kicking around in my head. maybe. just maybe I'll even be able to work on Tin Ambition. the comic which has calmly waited in my brain for 6 years.

firsty update! the firsty update real one anyways. SO. this is a sample of when i sketch. i set myself a goal to do 1 full page of doodles a day. sometimes i do more sometimes less. but this is generally what a full page looks like. i did this on in class last semester towards the end, :D
